Health coverage: Global trends
When we talk about health coverage, especially in countries like the US, UK, Canada, or Germany, we see that in the US roughly 300 million people have been covered out of the total population of 330 million. In Germany, roughly 80% healthcare coverage is sponsored by the government and the remaining 20% by private players.

In the US and Canada; there are universal health schemes like NHS that are being applied actively and this is the kind of attention given to health coverage at a global level. In the US, roughly 20% of the GDP comes from the
healthcare expenditures as compared to any other developed county where it ranges from 12% to 20%. This is the kind of importance which we are seeing in the world when it comes to covering health benefits for the population of different countries.
